About
Riley
Riley Sheehan is a versatile American cyclist whose roots in the sport run deep in his hometown of Boulder, Colorado. Growing up surrounded by cycling culture, Sheehan quickly rose to elite competition as a junior, representing the USA at Nations Cups and World Championships in both road and track disciplines. As he progressed to the U23 level, Sheehan continued his international career with the US National team, focusing primarily on road racing.
Riley has particularly excelled in challenging, Flanders-style classics, or sprints from reduced groups or break-aways on hard circuits, breaking into the European scene with a win in Paris-Tours as a trainee with Israel - Premier Tech in 2023, then going on to come 13th in his first attempt at Paris Roubaix. He's no slouch in the hills either - surprising even himself with a 4th place in Stage 4 at Valenciana last year.
2025 was a standout year for Riley, with podiums at the Arctic Race of Norway and the Lidl Deutschland Tour. Continuing to go from strength to strength, Riley now has his sights firmly set on stepping onto the top step of the podium again.
When he's not racing, Riley can be found hanging out amongst the mountains, or attempting to catch a fish on the Costa Brava. We are looking forward to seeing Riley continue to develop both as cyclist and fisherman after a pretty impressive couple of years with NSN Cycling Team.
